Thanks,
Unfortunaltely, this version still open links with IE and not with the default browser (Firefox, in my case). Couldn't find any settings for that. Or do i miss something? |

That means Firefox isnt set to your default browser, go to your start menu and select "Set Program Access & Defaults" select the "Custom" radio button and press the down arrows to the right, and select the radio button next to Mozilla FireFox
It should work then, It launches FF fine here!T. |

Thanks araT,
that's the first thing i've checked, and it's ok. Let try the following: 1. Open any BBS Keyhole Placemark in GE. 2. Click the Placemark and than on "More" (Now "Click here for the post") The internal GE browser starts. If i now click the "Show in separate window" button, it opens correctly in Firefox. BUT: if i click a link (that my be) provided in a post in the internal browser window, it opens in IE ! Regards Martin |

Yep, I'm with stadsman on this one.. no matter how I launch the browser from GE (or any other program for that matter) it opens FF, my IE is getting old & dusty in the corner of my HD somewhere.. it only gets used for Microsoft Update once-a-month
Is there a chance you installed FF *after* GE? I'm drawing at straws here, really T. |

Where can you find a changelog of the google earth (where are you getting the info)?
Like if someone has an August version, I'd want to tell him what has changed since then to convince to upgrade to latest release. EDIT Is this it? http://bbs.keyhole.com/GoogleEarth-Beta-differences.txt Last edited by hackson; 11-09-2005 at 08:51 PM. |
