Hi,
I tried to upload a tool that outputs KML to your file corner but I failed since you only allow KML and KMZ files. What about adding a tools corner to give emerging tools a place? Nice site! Leif |

If you need to restrict file-types then ZIP might do it for the moment. But bear in mind that a Macintosh version of Google Earth is to be released soon (I reckon) and that they do use other packers on Mac. Also you would forbid executable installers if you just allowed ZIP.
I would probably vote for a binary-file corner where all types are allowed, or at least the most popular archivers + executable formats for all plattforms. The rest of the site could stay as clean as it currently is (KML, KMZ) which I think is a good thing. |
