Just Curious how many people here are from or live in or around
Dublin Ireland?

Hey Dubliners,
what are these two towers on Dalkey island? Lighthouses?
The one to the south seem to be a very big one.

Hi Martin,

The one to the South is a Martello Tower. These were built by the British (when they were our occupiers) around the coast of Ireland and were intended as lookout posts. They were built during the Napoleonic Wars and used to watch for 'enemy' (French) ships.

I believe the building North of that tower is the remains of an old medieval church.
