The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) is part of the British Ministry of Defence. It was created from the old DERA in 2001 to take over those international collaboration, research and scientific areas that were best done within government, with the remainder going to QinetiQ.

Whats with all the cars? , and are they small rocket launch pads?

This closed a while back , and is now a car park for new Vauxhalls .
