That didn't take long. Actually, somebody posted the JFK Concorde in the file library
And thanks to Sabot's wonderful link, I am guessing that there are more visible Concordes to be found. |

On the web site of the museum (in a pdf brochure), the concorde is indicated on a boat on the side of the "intrepid" but there is nothing (see picture below. I cut a part of the pdf to match with the picture). The same thing for manchester UK airport, for example.

I don't know where the 3 are that you mention above but i saw one under a temporary hanger at Barbados airport last year. I have looked at it on GE but all i can see is a large white hanger north east of the main terminal. The loaction is 13 0451.57 59 2906.67 I tried to put a photo here, or a link, but haven't figured out how to do that yet. Any help?

![]() The Barbadian authorities have again signalled their wish to look after and preserve Concorde G-BOAE at Grantley Adams Airport in the Caribbean. Before a permanent visitors centre can be built, the aircraft’s guardians decided to build a special temporary hangar for her, which would keep the worst of the salty water from damaging the aircraft, sadly the roof of this structure was ripped of when hurricane Ivan got within 40miles of the island in 2004. After failing to get the fabric structure repaired by the original suppliers, a company ironically called Everlast of Canada, the airport authorities found a local contractor to rebuilt the roof and side walls, this time of a much stronger material, capable of withstanding a category 3 storm. When work is complete the aircraft will be moved inside the hangar once more and sealed from the elements. It is not known if the aircraft will then be opened to visitors, but the new structure would make a terrific exhibition space for any aviation museum around the globe! While sitting outside the aircraft has been regularly washed to removed any traces of the salty water and due to the warm climate, any areas of dampness would be quickly dried out, thus keeping any chance of corrosion to a minimum. Originally the airport’s plans called for a state of the art visitors centre to be built within 12-14 months of the aircraft's arrival. The plans, like the temporary hangar, were wrecked by hurricane Ivan. With the temporary hangar repaired, the clock is now ticking and the world’s aviation enthusiasts (along with BA!) are keeping a very very close eye. ![]() The Concorde in Barbados had its hangar roof blown off after hurricane IVAN.

I thought you would bring in the image here in the forum.
In GE you have to make an OVERLAY and copy the web-adress in, then the image will show near the placemark or where ever you want. When you like to bring a picture in the description, then you have the use HTML. I always use: <img src="web-adress">

Here is a kmz for the seven Concordes that are visible today. The Paris crash site is included. Tom

There is a replice in Hermeskeil Aviation Museum.
Full-size wooden replica model of pre-production Concorde 02 (F-WTSA) that is on display at the Aviation Museum in Hermeskeil, near Trier, Western Germany. It is slightly wider that a normal Concorde so it can be used as the museum's café. Yes! This is a 150-seat Concorde!
