Default How do you upload buildings you have created?

I would like to do an activity with my class involving modelling the buildings of our campus. I know and love Sketchup, and think it is a fantastic tool to work with, class-wise. I built a model of my home with sketchup, uploaded it into google earth. Is there a way I can have that model be availible to the whole world? Can I add it to the 3d buildings layer? I know I can export the building as a kmz file and actually give it to someone. I was just wondering if it could happen automatically.

thanks,

ivan

If you mean add it to the layer you turn on to show 3D cities then no.

However you could submit it to here where anyone who looks at the 3D models in the file section will see it.

also you could probably post it here in the Models and Annotations section.

Default thanks

So, would it be appropriate for my students to use this forum? We are talking about 12-17 years old.

So uploading placemarks to the google earth community is strictly about 2d? I wonder if that's going to change with the sketchup aquisition.

The models section is for 3d Models.
