I made this model of our building in Charlotte one day after discovering the free version of SketchUp that Google offers (http://sketchup.google.com/).

It's not a spectacular building but the 3-d rendering is fairly accurate as far as dimensions, the red "sign column", the rear storage facilities, etc.

I would love to see some people add downtown Charlotte to the default Google Earth 3-d buildings but who knows how long that will take. Maybe in another 5-10 years after a few more skyscrapers are up they will take notice of the QC.
