I think that's just a huge puddle of mud.
Here's a newer pic of that area: http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...2372&encType=1

There was a nuclear power plant in Ohio along the Lake Erie shore that was blurred way back like a year ago, I'm not sure if it is anymore, I believe it was the Camp Perry plant? but don't hold me to it

It is in hi-res, but there seems to be some 'brushwork' in a few places. ======= S^3 |

Giant grey overlay (about 2,7 x 1 km) in Germany near Stuttgart.
48°57'34N 8°58'03E I tried Virtual Earth but as soon as I zoom closer the area shows the same strange structure like in GE. Since there are Panoramio pics it seems like there is nothing except forest, fields, grasslands, a small lake and a very small industrial zone at the border. Any ideas?

The left area is an industrial park called Perfekter Standort (Perfect place).
http://www.perfekter-standort.de/ The right looks like a residence area and an industrial park too. There is also one at Bernkastel-Kues in Germany. And at that place is only forest. http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile179...astel-Kues.htm |

Hi all,
First post this is! For blurred out places you can check all dutch air force bases and several other military objects. See for yourself when you look at 'Volkel' for instance (air force base) or a bit west of Doorn (special forces barracks). By the way, can anyone tell me how I can easily copy coordinates into my postings? Bas |
