Takeoff or landing

This plane is halfway down the runway at Brisbane.

How to tell if its taking off or landing?

i think youll find its landing as it looks as though the spoilers are extended showing its slowing down.

also do you see a ghost image of the aicraft just ahead of it?

I see the ghost.

I'd say the smart money is on landing.
