This is a discussion thread for the following file:

Camouflaged buildings (Xinjiang,China)

At least 4 buildings are camouflaged so well that they are even easier to spot.

It's probably for Oil..

This just goes to show how ineffective dsruptive camoflauge is for building. Buildings seem to be hidden better by mimetic camouflage as in the square bunker to the north of the picture. if they painted the vents an olive drab our brown and planted some bushes in an irregular pattern that building or bunker would be almost invisible.
