Nuclear Bomb Crater discussion
This is a discussion thread for the following file:
Nuclear Bomb Crater Ever wanted to see what the creater of a 81 Kt nuclear bomb detonation looks like. This is the crater from Operation Greenhouse. The USA nuclear test program in 1951 on the Enewetak Atol, Pacific Ocean.

Weird. That looks like a radio telescope or something next to it. I wouldn't have wanted to dig that hole.

the one on the left is a radio telescope,you can tell by the panels on it

It's the first test described on this page (called "Dog"), Location Runit Island.
