Default More Than 3000 Feet Censored discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

More Than 3000 Feet Censored

More than 3000 feet censored here. That's the largest censoring (in terms of blurring buildings) I've seen so far. They even blurred the road.

That's a Dutch Army base. The street is a normal public street and maybe blurred by accident. I've passed that area a couple of times...

Why are we censoring Dutch army bases? I have not seen American bases censored and since were the Dutch as threat to anyone?

We don't censor, Google Earth is doing. It's been asked by the Dutch Government...

That's right, this is a military base, not in the terms of tank storage or something. It just the houses of the soldiers.

And according to Dutch laws, no high-ground are allowed of Dutch Military structures of places, the Ministery of Defense or any of the royal palaces. So google Earth is not allowed to show the places, or they would be violating the law. This is due to terror threads.
