Hello ~
Couldn't find a quick way to send a note the site owners here so I'll post this. I featured your site in my TNPC Newsletter today. That should be good for a large number of visitors. I also put a simple tutorial for my readers up. You can see it here: http://www.tnpcnewsletter.com/dan/google-earth/ Feel free to link to it if it is useful. Let me know if you do. The article itself isn't online but I've pasted it below so you can see it. Thank you! ~ Dan Butler -- Editor of TNPC Newsletter http://www.TNPCNewsletter.com/ -------- Begin article ---------- ** Hacking Google Earth by Dan Butler Google Earth continues to fascinate everyone here. If you downloaded the program before 5 August you will want to update to the latest version with enhanced caching. That should give you a little better performance. While surfing the net I came across GoogleEarthHacks.com. Lots of predefined bookmarks, interesting items people have found on the maps, additional 3-D buildings and much more. I found a weather map overlay for my local area. Handy and helps me keep track of exactly where the bad weather is happening. If you are using Google Earth give this a try: http://www.googleearthhacks.com/ The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to use what I found. I would download the files and then what? So to help you I made a little multimedia tutorial on using what you find at GoogleEarthHacks.com. Advanced users will find it old hat but the rest of you will discover ways to use one of the coolest new toys around. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.tnpcnewsletter.com/dan/google-earth/ If you use the tutorial please drop a note to: mailto:dan@tnpcnewsletter.com and let me know if you found it helpful. -- © 2005 Dan Butler Dan Butler is the Editor-in-Chief of TNPCNewsletter.com and the author of the amazing new book that shows you how to save your identity, get your email read, and put more time into the things you really enjoy... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tired of fighting identity thieves?
