Lake Eufaula

Brand new imagery from Google Earth brings us this. One of the largest lakes in the U.S. (15th Largest) and one of the largest man made lakes in the U.S., only rivaled by Lake Mead, Lake Eufaula spans from about 3-5 miles north of I-40 all the way to McAlester, Oklahoma, a distance of about 30-40 miles in length from north to south!! This Street View image was taken on the Google car, on the bridge of I-40. The network of roads that crosses the lake use a Bridge and Dike system, allowing roads to cross the lake for many miles (This crossing is about 5 miles)
