#6 - Strange Objects

Now that you've seen some of the quirks in Google Earth, it's time to look for real-life strange objects. These are items that really exist on earth, but look strange when viewed through Google Earth (or in person, if you were to travel there).

Face of Jesus in Peru (download)
The coloring of the ground in this area makes what appears to be a giant face on the ground, which many people say looks like Jesus. You be the judge.

Bob the Builder (download)
On a floating platform in Australia you have what looks kind of like Bob the Builder (from a children's TV show).

Ancient Alien Spacecraft (download)
We're still undecided as to what caused this strange patch of desert in Algeria. Some have suggested a meteorite hit there, others thing it might just be some leftover equipment from a nearby oil rig.

Pacman Invades (download)
This is a great example of a common thing that looks very different from Google Earth. Those are irrigation circles, which exist all over the world. Sure looks like Pac-Man, though...
