Janet Airlines – what workers take to get to Area 51

Janet aircraft are really 737-200’s that are painted white with a red stripe going through them. There is no company name on them or insignia. The Janet terminal that’s in Las Vegas is only two blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. There is no secrecy behind them, mainly because the government doesn’t care if people see what airplanes the workers are using to get to Area 51. The Janet airplanes are 100 feet in length, and can seat up to 138 people. Every weekday, at least 500 people arrive at the guarded terminal owned by EG&G on the northwest side of McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada to board the Janet Airlines.
