La Ballue castle

Built in 1620, the chateau de la Ballue is particularly well situated nearby Mont-saint-Michel, & Saint Malo as well as nearby the Romantic City of Combourg, Dol de Bretagne, the medieval towns of Dinan & Fougères, the seaside resort of Dinard, and the 17th century town of Rennes.
The château, pure britton 17th century jewel, was, in the beginning of the 19th century (as in the late 20th) a place frequented by writers and artists.
Balzac, Victor Hugo stayed here, and in more recent times screenwriter Marc Cholodenko, sculptors Panayiotis Takis, Jacky Coville and artists René Tal Coat, Rosita Dewez, R. E. Gillet, Nathalia Velit, Yohiro Mifune…
