This little town is call Shoji, located in Japan Yamanashi Prefecture, right next to Shoji Lake, within the premises of Jukai/Aokigahara (Sea of Trees) which lies in the North West base of Mount Fuji. The Sea of Trees are famously known for it’s density of the trees, and an absence of wildlife, therefore making it one of the most eerie and dangerous forest in the world. It is also the world second most popular location for suicides, thus the name Suicide Forest.
But amidst these, there lies a little town with less than 1000 residents. Besides being remote, it has a school (as seen in the map, it’s the building right in front of the plot of empty land which is probably the school field) which teaches only 11 students and a few guest house (inn) with onsen (hot springs) for tourists who came from all over the world to see the magnificent Mount Fuji.
